Aaron Lockhart (b. 1989) grew up in Alabama and currently lives and works in Kingston, New York. Often informed by his experience as a queer person raised in the religious South, his work takes shape through drawing and sculpture as a way of unearthing and understanding his own feelings of difference, desire, devotion, despair, and discovery.
